2500 os future ??? abandon os1 / os2 ?

i couldn't help noticing that at the link below JJ only shows 3.09free os & os-xl. os1 and os2 are still downloadable but was wondering whether this means JJ will no longer be updating/supporting os1 and os2. I luv jj's free OS and am prepared to invest in his upgraded options. i just didn't want to invest in an OS that JJ plans to abandon.

this is NOT a complaint or request line, simply an inquiry as future support for the JJOS. i noticed os2 for the 1k has not been updated since 2008.

planned obsolescence is NOT my cup of tea.

No recent updates of OS2 because he is working on the newer version JJOS2xl. Even if he did stop with the updates its still worth every penny with the added features.

I'm sure if theres any bugfixes needed in os1 and os2, JJ would still fix them. But updating those two versions with more features won't happen.
