Hello,
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I've a very annoying issue with the MPC 1000 os2Xl.
I recorded a single midi note about 5 minutes long (with some, but not too many, CC events) yet, when playing it again, the sound would cut off at 1 minute or earlier if I played too many notes on a different track (non midi).
Any idea on how to work around this?
I will need this quite often as I need to record long continuous drones that I can later record on an audio track, an issue like this is quite a show stopper...

Are your drone sounds samples or external gear? If they are samples perhaps you should switch your midi note mode to one shot and make sure you don't go over the 32 note polyphony.

If you're using external gear and midi, then you're probably hitting a different issue as something must be sending the note off signal. I'd make sure you're not recording in a loop mode or playing in a loop mode as this may cause some unwanted problems. One last thought... try setting your track to the midi drum track. I think this is 8, but it might be 7 or 9. The reason for this is that it is supposed to get note priority and there may be something messing up your notes.
