actually those specs do sound pretty reasonable. nice touch with the onboard flash... and the two headphone jacks and two sd slots is pretty nice also.

I cant wait to try one, even though the name takes a while to digest...

upgrading the processor is interesting, although a good one should be put in right off the bat because that sounds like issues waiting to happen.

the thing i dislike is how its aimed at the pop-hop market, it could really suit my needs but i need to know it's gonna be a kick ass sampler/sequencer for the average crate digger, which looks promising atm..

on paper its better then the 1k thats certain but gotta see what other dudes can do with it and see how the fx sound

well it is several years newer then the 1k... so of course it will be better spec wise. the fx, well how hard is it to put some of the standard fx? The thing that takes the time (to be tested and true) is how solid the OS is gonna be. Look how easy of a time akai had messing up their opperating systems. They overcome the challenge of getting all the worst bugs included in their machine.

We may even allow u to upgrade the processors so as faster ones come out u can upgrade.

I can't answer anything about the email support, they've always responded to my emails fine.

As for two headphones, I can think of a few reasons it would be coo.

If you working on a track and want someone to lay some keys, guitar, voals, etc for your sampling, they can hook up another pair of headphones and hear what you're working on, so they can play to the track. In a studio setting it probably isn't needed, but when not in a studio setting ( like probably many of the customers of this Thang will be) it's a helpful feature.

That's the way I'd see using it, I guess you can have two cats working at the same time but that would be awkward lol.
