JJ OS FOR MPC 1000:

Hello.
I ve got a question,and they are two things,is it posible to meake for a newer version of the OS 2XL,that includes.
a 8 Track Recorder,and a Synthesizer like the mpc 5000,or is it to difficult to do this or doesn`t work with in the MPC 1000?

Hmm I think there is no way to realize an 8 track recorder because there are only 2 audio inputs

But you can create your own little synth-sounds by using basic waveforms and the ADSR-Envelope settings in Program-Mode... they won't sound as fat as a "real" synth, but give it a try

The mpc-1000 is actually a weak machine (compared to a PC/MAC) which means that it cannot emulate an analog synthesizer. And, yeah it has only two inputs so the eight track is out of the question.

i had the mpc 1000 two times but i have seld them because i would a mpc 5000,it`expensiver and i think i go back to the good
old mpc 1000B and put th8e new os 2xl on the machine and thanx for the tip for the samples,i will look there for a good thing.

When or before you get the 2XL, i can recommend to try out the os 2 classic. After i bought the 2XL i tried the 2 classic and it's much better/faster in my hands. To many important things have been erased from os2 to os2xl! Try it!
