Ok, so for the last week I have been trying to search the net and my manual and I think I have just about burned myself out with this problem. Since my Turtle Beach USB MIDI cable just stopped working all of a sudden, I thought I would hook up my MPC 2000XL via 5 pin Din MIDI In and Out to my M-Audio Axiom 61 which in turn would hook up to my computer to be able to control whatever software I choose to use for sounds IE: Reason, Hypersonic 2, or SampleTank 2 (With the MPC being the Master sequencer). So, I couldn't control the MPC at first, then I found out that by setting the Axiom 61 In 2 (within Hypersonic) I can control the MPC, but also by setting that, I can't play the Axiom keys. I had believed I set the MPC to Master but apparently it only records MIDI when set on Axiom 61 In 2 (within Hypersonic). The MIDI tracks are set appropiately (1A, 2A, etc....) I have tried several different combinations of setting MTC as well as MMC and I feel I'm at a standstill. Can someone help me out?
