i have a MPC 2000 XL and i got a SP 303 can i use the SP303 to trigger of samples in a MPC song via midi ?

I'd do it the other way round though......use the MPC to trigger the SP303. Mainly because the MPC is a much more sophisticated sequencer & has better data storage facilities. The SP303 is a good compliment to the MPC for doing some really grungey, lo fi samples.

thats what i meant i have records scratches into the SP 303 (which has a 256m media card) so i rather store them on the sp 303 .So how do i get the MPC to trigger the samples in the sp 303 in a sequence ?

I don't have a 303 but my first drum machine was the 505... It was real nice... My little bro is messin around wit it now (Gotta bring up the next generation)... I still borrow it from him just simply for the FX... That's one thing I wish my XL had built in... Cause those SP-505 FX were really nice...

couldnt agree more. actually, all my samples go into the 505 then the mpc. with the 505 and a 128 card, you can fit 64 minutes on one card. and I like the speed of it - no naming files, all that. and the portability of it. if Im watching a movie, the 505 is mad easy to transport right next to the tv.

Yea I take out my 505 over my boys hosue when we Jam... He plays bass and his boy comes over and play guitar we just f*ck around basically, but occassionally we come across somethin hot that's worth keepin... And the protability definitely helps

Yo DJ Andreas did you load the sounds in the 303 or 60? Did u program the drums from the 60 with effects from the 303?
