Anybody know of any good hardware to sample stuff with? I want to sample old school stuff (like songs and stuff) into my MPC 1000, but I'm new to sampling...

going to take the time out to make sure you guys get what I'm saying...
First, thanks for the answer.
Secondly, I don't think you can just stick a PS3 CD or a record into the MPC 1000 (as it does not have space).
Third, it's not a joke...
Fourth; HARDWARE....
Fifth, I asked "what hardware" in conjuction with question mark, meaning that I am talking about something to place the records/vinyl into, so I can play it!
Sixth, I was inquiring (I mean, "asking") what would be a good brand of hardware to use...
Seventh, why would anybody laugh at that??? I don't see me asking anybody something that's funny; I don't get people sometimes...
Nevermind though; just move this thread... I'll find help elsewhere... I thought it was called "Getting Started" for a **** reason...

Turntable ---> Mixer ---> MPC
I got a turntable with a build in pre amps (not sure if it is called like that my english fails me on sunday morning, what I mean is that ur turntable needs to be grounded, usually there is a thing on the mixer that you can put the groundwire around)
Ok this was to much use of my mind for now, hope it makes sense lol.

Well next time, clarify your question before posting them. Most people aren't as gifted in reading skills as you.
And you know what, that question is lame. If you don't know where to play a ps3 disk or where to play vinyl, then you need special ed classes.
When you get off the pms, reread that 1st post and you'll laugh too.
