there's a bit of an illusion going on there. it's an attic room so the ceiling slopes down slightly at the perimeter walls. the height it's set at is perfect for working the sliders in a standing position. i can control the notes from the prophet so it's basically just a long wall mounted easy to edit module in that state. and yes, it's one of my favorite synths to play high ;) especially with the kenton dcb/midi. the lfo and velocity to filter modulation add so much to the juno. -)

thanks! it cost a grip to get the reel professionally restored but i'm glad i did it. got tons of grandma's old bootlegs to go through. and as soon as i stop being so lazy i'm going to start using it to run my samples through/use it for mixes.

but, my basement studio is currently being remodeled.

listed is the brand new, NeKo LX5 (my birthday present), FW1884, MPC5000, Motif XS8 & the Event Studio Precision 8s.
other studio equipment is locked up in storage. I have 3 extra bedrooms that i could have set up shop in, but my wife thinks that the foster kids are more important :D, go fugure....lol

I got my Teac at a university surplus sale for $15, check your local hifi shops too.



they make smaller ones? I just need one to resample drums thru tape.

i got them from some online shop. i can't remember which one it was but they are made by 'sicmats'. you should be able find them pretty easily.
