Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I can't really find this anywhere on the net. I found a chart somewhere, but it lacks sample time for the 2000.

I wondering what the mono/stereo sample time on a 2mb MPC2000 is.

Easy question...

AlienRobotDance wrote:Where can you get the RAM for free. It's not regular computer Ram I guess. At MPC stuff it's not THAT cheap.

20 seconds fits my needs though.

Thanks for answering my initial question.

craigslist... make a post WANTED: 72pin simms 2 x 16meg

then say you want it for an old computer project...

offer 5 or 10 bucks..

it worked for me. I got a pile of ram for 10 bucks and I only needed to pay the guy because I offered it.

the money just gives the motivation to the people to go in their basement and pull it out of their old garbage computer collecting dust.

oh, and put the post in the computer section.. and dont tell them it is for a musical instrument.

What I did was found an old desktop computer (flat ones not towers) with simm cards inside or speed up your samples which will give you a full sample with less time and use shift + program to slow it down or search 16MB SIMM for AKAI MPCs and find a good price 4 one.
