Using Q-Link sliders with a Patched Phrase sample

I sampled a little guitar loop, and patched phrased it - never really used it before, thought i'd try it out...

So i got it looped with some drums - I want to use the sliders for some Filter/Tune action on the guitar, but they don't seem to be working.

I haven't used these Q-link sliders much either, just getting into them.

Is this normal for a patched phrase sample? anyone had this problem?

I'm on JJOS1, MPC1000.

Im not at my MP so I may be a lil off on correct terms but...

Open the Sliders menu, change the type of action to Filter or Pitch, then set the option to "all pads" instead of just "single pad" and as long as you have your patch phrase set to a new program you should be able to alter all of the pads at one time w/ the q-link.
