yup, considering you can get a 4000 for about $1100- why would anyone buy an ugly 1000 for $850?

I know right.. I got my 2500 for 700 w/ a cdm25 in it.. after a 80HD(30$) and 8Gb CF card(26$) and 128mb ram(9$) I still only paid 765 total.

I also dont agree with reserves. reserves are for people who are too scared to start the bid at what they want for the machine or too scared to include a buy it now. And the worst part is, they dont have a way to "do not show me items with reserves".

I don't mind the reserves. It gives you that insurance to get your bare minimum. What I hate are the rediculous reserves. That, and when they have "no reserve" in the title, then reserve not met! Last one, and this is a big one for me. They have an item up with an opining bid that they put up that is lower than their reserve... Pisses me off. I think if you have a reserve, it should automatically show as the first bid option. Anyways, enough.

that is what I mean. if you aren't going to sell it less then your reserve price anyways... dont mess with people. start the bid at your minimum.

I don't mind reserves- I also don't mind the starting bid beginning under the reserve- The seller needs to get people interested, and people bid on items when they are low...that's just how it goes!

What I DO hate is when I take the time to email a seller and ask what the reserve is and they tell me they "won't say" WTF? It's not a secret! Do you want me to watch this thing, or not? Go screw yourself- I'm buying a box of moon pies instead.

yeah seriously. I know what you mean.

A while back I was in the lead on something on ebay... in fact I think the guy didn`t put the proper tags on the item for the search or something because nobody really noticed the auction. and just as I was about to win it, the auction disapeared.

I know how buyers are forced to pay up once they win as a part of the contract... but you would think that contract would go both ways. that or sell your sh!t on craigslist.
