Hi people.

I have already posted this questions on the Production tips thread but i thought that I might post it here as it seems it a sepcific mpc 500 question.

Anyway, can anyone tell me if I am able to set different quantize / swing settings to indiviudal samples in 500?

Or do I have to do it by track.????

Advice needed please!!!

NO..........I know how to set quantize.

U have misunderstood what i was saying. Can u set VARIABLE swing settings.

ie setting the kick, snare and hats on the SAME track all with different settings?

I am not sure if u can only do this when u put ure kick / snare / hats on different tracks

And no need for the attitude

still not sure if I understand you right but I think your asking (for example) can you set a kick on one swing and then a snare on another swing? yes! you can do it all on the same track or 10 dif ones if ya wanna

yes you can set the variable swing from 50% to 75% on everything 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or cut the shit off for any swing you want...you do this in the same window you set the quantize under "timing correct" ...

Is there another way to set the swing?...other than adding air b4 your kicks and snares etc...nope

Suck my attitude

suck my attitude

hahahahahahaha

picaso24-you know you have 48 tracks you dont need to layer things on the same track
change quantize each track OR overdub the sh$%
seperate tracks make it easier to record out if you ever want to mix it into a DAW btw
