My MPC got the AIDs
it's tough bro, now whenever I insert a CF card i have to make sure to use one of these:

I recommend the same for you if your's keep contracting viruses.

You guys are brutal..
I wouldn't think an MPC could get a virus but technically, it is a computer. I would try re-installing the OS and swapping out the RAM.

oh, and coz i do get it, im so careful when im at the beach, i make sure i have no sand on my fingers when im on my mpc, and i make sure the wave splashes are far from the mp

oops, i forgot to add a helpful suggestion!
although the original poster is probably an old man or dead now - here goes anyway ..
could the mpc have taken a knock in transport at any time? Ive heard that if te faceplate takes a knock it can potentially squash the buttons a bit, causing the buttons to trigger other buttons . might be worth taking the faceplate off and seeing if the buttons respond properly.
although i might remember this wrong and it was regarding the pads as opposed to the buttons...
