I have jjos but I want to go back the os normal mpc 2500

I get the file to download on the akaipro site it does but it is a bin or unknown file I try on other computers but still get the same can some one help by sending me the file through email or what ever............thanks

I think you need to spend some quality time with JJ and THEN go back to Akai os to see what a piece of junk it is!!

the new akai os is a nightmare if you want to chop it takes like one minute to do it!!!!!!the chop section is 1000 times better on jjos free and you got the global program edit ..this function is so important for me....i downloaded the fake os on akai s webpage and put on a cf card then load directly os from cf card and i cry when i realize in coudnt download the older akai os...so boolshhtt cant believe this!!!!!seriously what they do with their os???!!!

thinking about it - it should be a bin file you get. While it may not open on your pc, it should work fine if you put it on a CF card and boot up the 2500 with the WINDOW (I think) key pressed down.

I've moved from AKAI to JJOS and havent moved back - however may be worth checking with others if there are any issues. Im sure I read somewhere that you had to reformat any hard drives you had installed or you'd have problems saving...

Yes..of course the OS files don't work on a regular PC. Follow the update instructions on the Akai website, it's all there...
