I have some 4 bar loops that I recorded in my computer, transfered it to my MPC1000 in WAV, and it loops nice. The problem is, when I mute that loop or track, I press mute and it does not mute until the 4 bar loop reaches the beginning of the loop.
If I put the sample in note on mode, I record ir for 4 bars, loops good , and it mutes right away, but it does not un-mutes right away, again I have to wait the whole 4 bars to hear it again.
Anyone knows a way around this??
I am going to sync itwith a laptop with Live software to play live, should I do it via MTC??
Thanx

the mpc sequencer is triggering the sample, so if you mute the trigger, the sample isn't playing, you have to wait until the next trigger to hear the sample. now turning down the volume of the sample in the MPC's mixer or an external mixer would be more of what you are after, since the sample is being triggered, you just don't hear it until you raise the volume.
