mpc500 as midi controller

hey everybody,

i wanna use my mpc as midi controller for ableton live like a mpd. this i wanna play samples from the computer with the mpc per midi and also i wanna use the mpc to control the daw. does anybody have experience with that?? that would be really helpful!

ay Elmer, a program that's set up for this is simply a blank program with the notes chronological order, no? Or is there more to it

I was just wonderin' tho... since the 500 has only 12 pads (in stead of 16) we're missing a whole 12 notes... right? So we have to make another program for those 12 last notes..?
