60II Disk Error

anyone ever get this error message while trying to load a floppy?:

"this file was created by a unit with a later system software
version. you must upgrade the system in this unit before
reading this file."

i'm running 3.10... it's the only OS i've used since i got it. this is the second time the message has come on. in both instances, i had been working with one floppy for a few hours. i recorded the beat and was going to work on another beat that was on a separate floppy. while trying to load that second one, the error message appears. really sucks losing all that work every time this happens.

Does this happen with the start up of the machine or does this also happens when you go to the diskmenu and load the prOgram and seqeunce files from there?

I had this once and never had it again... even with the same disk :S

if its the same disk, it happens on both occasions, startup and while using disk menu...

once i get the error message with a particular disk, everything on that disk is more or less done... the machine refuses to read it... this error message will just keep coming up. it let me load the sounds one time, but even so, everything was not in tact.
