s6000 manual vs z4/z8 manual

Hi all. I've heard people (like Blue Haze) mention reading the s6000 manual as well as the z4/z8 manual to better understand the 4000. I've downloaded both and have only just scanned them over... Anybody know if they're different enough to warrant reading both? I take it they'd both be useful for understanding the sampler side of the 4000 as opposed to the sequencer side? Thanks, Pete

Never had a Z4 or MPC 4k but I can say that the S-6000 taught me allot about multi-sampling in general.
