I think most of us here know that it's the person and not the machine that makes the music. So, all that GURU vs. beat thang virtual is unnecessary. Also, we've heard what kinda beats you are capable of.

I'm still confused about "internal" and "external" tracks. I understand the internal tracks are within the unit itself, but where are the external tracks at?

Naw yall aint really heard what it can do yet... You just heard us messing around and some quick demos....

Here ya go...... 100% Beat Thang Virtual..... All Preset kits and Instruments. No loops no sample CD's 100% sequenced and mixed in Beat Thang Virtual...... Exported and converted to mp3...... The hi rez sounds even better. I made this in 30 mins start to finish and used 8 tracks.

External tracks are for if you got Keyboards or sound modules you wanna sequence like a xv 3080 or Fantom, moog or even an mpc.

yes they can also seq int tracks too..... We are about to activate that in virtual in about 2 weeks

I didn't pay much attention to this thread, but... You must give props to the 'kangz' for actually talking to their (potential) customers.

I'm so used to separating my tracks out lol...though technically I can adjust volume and everything else on the pad level lol.

It has 16 Tracks Total. Currently you Have 8 traxx for internal use.. ie any stock sounds and any of your samples are accessed by traxx 1-8.

Then you have 8 traxx (9-16) to trigger external gear.... for now. The Beat Thangz are Open platforms, that will be upgraded for FREE; the option to have 16 traxx for either internal or external will be in an upgrade!!!

Here. Riders was made on a MC-909 loaded with SB-246 sounds I sampled into it.
I used to rave about the SB-246 sounds to other peeps until you guys came out with your attitudes.

Very nice with the Beat Thang virtual. Not to many standalone production beat machines out there. I love Battery, but just for the sounds and fx. No way to SEQ without a host. Who said they like BPM?? Please let me know why. They almost got it but the work flow just ain't there with BPM.

I would like to see more vids with Beat Thang virtual. Imma give it a while but Imma still cop it though. Good way to market yourself with the free T-Shirt. lol

I haven't tried BPM myself, I will...but this virtual thang to me "feels" like an instrument. It's like it's own little environment to me. I've already started bringing in my own sounds and making kits, but I've also messed wit the internal sounds a bit.

They are actually very good. This is my first time messing with anything from Beat Kangz, so I didn't know what to expect. It's definitely not just a "southern" sound collection.

I think those are the ones available.

I can't wait to try out the hardware. Specs are hot. I would like to get a grill that looks like fangs and teeth and to have the Thang painted in flat black or a green to look like a swamp with gators staring at you or even gator skinned pads lol! That sh!t would be beastin' in my set up.
