I'm getting an MPC1000 the blue/red one, but it does not have a cover under the mpc where the ram is located.
Is there any where I can buy one online at.
I've checked MPC Stuff but can't find one.

I doubt that it's a item that many places stock but they would be able to order one for you from Akai direct. Call VST and they can order it in for you.

suggestion;: it s a simple steel cover, u can cut it urself...
i replaced the complete steelbackplate with an aluminium one.
makes the mpc really lighter.
