I have been out of town for a strong minute. This morning I decided to go through the kick collection and I auditioned every sound in this category. Shit bangs pretty hard. There are a few kicks that I'll never use as they may have other sounds layered on top of them which isn't a great loss as these few kicks are useless anyway. There are quite a few that have simply got that thud. I have also figured out how to resample sounds individually as well as entire loops. I'm starting to really like the FX here. It reminds me of the asr where you must resample to really get the full flavor. I would have liked to add FX plug in style not unlike the bpm but this program is solid as a rock compared to motu's offering as far as stability is concerned. So far I can dig it... even if I never touched the sounds that come with it, I dig the workflow. It's very much like an asr crossed with an mpc.

I would like to get a grill that looks like fangs and teeth and to have the Thang painted in flat black or a green to look like a swamp with gators staring at you or even gator skinned pads lol! That sh!t would be beastin' in my set up.

When the campaign for paintz and grillz will begin?

hell yeah i think them big corps been holding back the technology cos a box with this feature set shoulda been out a few years back but i think this is gonna shake em up cos they've been too complacent and they have not been listening to the users its like the big corp been dictating the feature set the artists need not vice verse until now.

In theory the software is out already, so:
- Has anyone tried it personally?
- What are the system requirements?
- Are all the included sounds only hip-hop?
- Is there any review around?
- Does this thing work?

You pretty much have factory kits, factory instruments, user kits and user instruments

Under kits, each kit starts with the "style" then the kit name

so EAST-boombap for whatever

the instruments are under one folder

pretty much laid out like KEYS-rhoderage or whatever

so it's a folder structure and each sound is labeled in style or type

 Oh hell yeah, the Kangz hooked me up! When you pre-order the hardware, they send you the software and a t-shirt for free. And they let me pay half and the rest will be paid at day of release. They really help out and customer service is professional. You actually contact a human being, not some email bot.
