88 key piano on JJOS2 XL ?

Not sure if this can be done - I've finally hooked up a midi 88 key controller to my mpc 2500 JJOS 2 XL. The keyboard sounds I have are pretty good but as I suspected I can only get 64 keys out of them. 4x16 pads = 64

Its a long shot - and my knowledge of midi isn't particularly good - I know how to cable MIDI in to MIDI out, and thats about it , but does anyone know of a mpc program/sample combination that would enable me to use all 88 keys on the controller.

With JJ OS 2 or 2XL you can create an Instrument-Program (choose INSTR when creating a new Program), wich allows you to play all Keys when using an external midi-keyboard.

While you only have 64 pads, if you use an external midi controller you can send those notes to an instrument program in the MPC that can respond to them. So yeah, you can use an 88 key keyboard to control the MPC and have every note make a sound. I'm pretty sure you can go from MIDI note #00 to #128... so that should give you plenty of flexibility.
