MPC2000XL and Reason...

Just wondering if anyone syncs their MPC with Reason? Have you had much success? Would you recommend it? Anyone doing this on Mac OSX with Reason 2? How about syncing Reason, the MPC and a standalone hardware synth? I know Reason does not control hardware synths on its own, but can the MPC work as a control center between the 2? Thanks in advance for any advice.

i use my mpc along side reason and nuendo. i generate the mtc for the sync in nuendo and reason and nuendo talk using rewire.

you could use a midi keyboard to play/record sequences into the mpc that will control a hardware synth. you should be able get the mpc and reason synced by having the mpc as the master.

i wouldnt say better,
i would say since reason does not have midi out that is your only choice.
mpc + reason = mpc as master

One thing thing i know is that Reason has a lot of built in sound i could use. But sequencing it with my MPC, what will i benifit with it, besides the fact that it has more sounds.
