problems through M-audio Fast track pro

hope somone can help me with this: I'm running my MPC through the M-audio fast track pro and it doesn't come out loud enough. And besides that it's delayed. It's a pain in the ass, so please need some help!?

The MPC-500 is quite low because it lacks a preamp. It's created this way because it's designed to run on batteries. About the delayed audio, check the latensy in your daw. It shold be max 40 milli seconds.
