Few basic questions about MPC + Logic and JJ OS

I need Your help. I hope that U help me.

1. JJ OS question:

I have JJ OS1 on my MPC 1000. I am thinking about purchasing JJ OS2XL.

-Is it worth?
-Does JJ OS2XL give a lot of opportunities?
-For full functionality of JJ OS2XL I have to buy JJ OS2 first?


2. Syncing MPC and Logic question:

-Is there any way to sync MPC 1000 and Logic?

But I don't have Fantom keyboard. I have M-Audio Keystation 88 Pro.
I want sync MPC with Logic to be able to control the options of the Logic from MPC, and to be able to record straight from the MPC to Logic.
More - I want to one time play on keyboard and record music on MPC, and another time play on keyboard and record in Logic without pin cables.

How to do that? Like on this movie?

-Are MPC 1000 pads sending MIDI Messages?
I wrote about this to Akai support, and they reply me that MPC pads do not sending MIDI messages. Is it true?

connect it this way - usb midi from Logic/computer to Keystation , standard 5pin midi out/in from keystation to the MPC in/out . Yes, the MPC pads send midi messages. I would usually sync everything to logic cuz thats my main format.
