Mpc Advice please ASAP!!

get a 4000 and a real roland tr-808. cant get better then that.

How easy is it to get a beat going as soon as i turn the mpc on?
if its gonna take like 4 hours to assign samples to pads then F*** that cos i had that problem with the (lame) 500,

i got the 2500 and the mv 8800. They do the same shyt really. i perfer the mv 8800 its a solid peice with no glitchs like the mp's.

No mpc is going to help you sound like anyone, especially if you're not prepared to put the time in to learn how to use it.

It may pay you to hold out for the forthcoming beat thang drum machine as that comes with 3000 sounds, most of which will probably be dirty south inspired.

Yes I'm very happy. I know how to use my 500 I'm not a (lame) user.

My girlfriend also agrees I'm a very happy un-lame individual.

Have a nice 4 hours assigning your pads lol.

Some of the comments in this thread are just way too harsh and unnecessary.

To the OP, of course the 4000 is going to be "better" than the 500 and many many aspects. However your "career" does NOT depend on this info. Be patient, and figure out the MPC you have before you decide to give up on it for something that could you could possibly have even more issues with. The 4k is a complicated machine. Do some research!
