Cheers. Appreciate it.

Also, I'm interested to know how easy it is to move around and manipulate sequencer data once it's recorded. For instance, is it easy to change the placement of a note, change pitch, change the note duration, etc?

As far as I can tell, there is a low pass on each pad, and selectable filters on each track. You can get it done with this setup really, I just wish there were different filters on each pad but they sound pretty good.

I think that ability will come with the step sequencer update...I would imagine this would be the only way to accomplish it, right now it's all real time, no grid or anything...but that's supposed to change as well.

so what are you using with your beat kang virtual? an MPD controller? usb keys?

because for real time using a mouse to hit in your sounds would be like using an mpc with only one pad.

I'm using a Korg Micro X to trigger the sounds, but I've messed a little bit with using the computer keys to input notes, and if someone didn't have a midi controller they could get by using that method, although it's not ideal for any type of dynamic playing obviously.

heck naw lol hahaha...I'm using my emu xboard to input my stuff...lol, real time with a mouse would be horrible!

the computer keys aren't bad, they are laid out right, but I don't get down with those...I just use my keyboard...I may hook up my mpc too it when I get it back in the lab...

or an mpd...or just wait for the beat thang and hook that up!

Who is using this program on PC and who is using it on Mac? I'm using it on Mac and I've only come across one replicable bug that causes a crash. Other than that I haven't run into any major problems There are two big things I'd like to see added off the bat, one is the ability to change the tempo into integer numbers like 100.3bpm instead of just 100bpm or 101bpm, and the other is a step sequencer/piano roll where I can move notes off the grid a bit and change the duration of notes in a midi editor.

yo, i am using a pc and ive come across one bug that i can replicate and a few i can, I think the app runs better on a mac... sometimes it tends to just crash, and that would be terrible if you were using it in a live performance...

i'm sure you not the only one, but I've never...ever...worked like that lol...but I know many that do.

I talked to them about that...they said it's in the plans...

we still must remember this is version 1.0...I'm anxious, because i already like it, but had a few suggestions and such...and if they listen to their users like they say they will....well....it's gonna be crazy.

of course I know they will add what the majority requests...not just what one or two peeps think is needed...they'd forever be adding things for every user lol.

^^^^^^ok so looks like you cant adjust filters for each pad while the pattern/beat is playing either, whats the deal with this?? isnt it normal to have ur beat playing while you are making adjustments so you can get ur sound just right?? I really wish the would have brought me on as a beta tester... when a sound guy is doing his adjusting the music is going isnt it? I really hope they fix all this, this is terrible work flow for me, i'm just sitting and waiting to use this software
