parliment / funkadelic records

i am looking for parliment/funkadelic records .. if anyone is willing / trying to sell or trade
i have a few of there records but im trying to collect there entire collection for my library.
ill trade ALMOST any wax in the library ...

I saw some torrents with the entire parla/funka discography a while ago. If you want to just have the MP3's to listen to while you are on the hunt for the vinyl...it's worth checking out if you have a high speed connection.

I've got 2 copies of Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome if you want one. I bought it and then saw a copy in good condition at Goodwill. Didnt really need 2 but was hoping someone who could appreciate it might want it.

Are you looking for OGs or re-issues or does it matter? I also have a 45 of Funkadelic - Knee Deep parts 1 and 2 if you're interested.

Good point. If you don't mind re-issues, I think all of the albums have been re-issued. You may be able to stop at a nearby vinyl store and order them all in one shot.

Quality might not be all that though. It's actually as much of a gamble as ordering used on-line. At least a record store will probably refund or exchange if there are any problems.

true ... i really would like the OG pressings .. i know it will be a stretch ..

The "Free your mind" & "Osmium" LP's are the 2 toughest to get a hold of in my opinion.
However I've been lucky enough to find the early 45's on Revilot in good condition and cheap.

As far as samplin parliment, bootsy and them. Dre has made gems with parliment samples. You would be hardpressed to flip them to surpass his sampling.

I don't think he's looking for them just to sample. In fact, a lot of their records are not made to be sampled and they should be left as is.

And yeah parliament records really are not as common as you would think, Im still missing osmium and up for the downstroke. Sure I could probably order em off the net, but as far as searching goes and diggin in local record shops I hardly ever see those two. Ive got most of the funkadelic stuff, except for a few of their first albums.

I got 2 original copies of Chocolate City... but they are back in England.

Not sure if you've seen my earlier thread, but I have a Fkuk-load of old shiz... Parliament included- All originals.

I work with an old DJ from the 70's and he drops crates on me quite frequently... he doesn't even have decks anymore. I

I'm at work now so I can't really list all I have thats Parliament, but i'd be willing to talk over which ones you want etc.. and work something out.
