.rex files for mpc500

hey there, i was wondering if .rex files like those used in Recycle and Reason are compatible with the MPC500. I just bought mine the other day and I'm wondering if I can upload the .rex into the cf card and load it into the ram with the samples loaded onto the pads. I've been successful uploading a .wav sample into the mpc, but I'm confused onto how to chop it into.. lets say 1/4 note length per pad. thanks guys

True but you can use recycle or other software to export the samples so that you can use them on the 500.

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to go with Bluebox as I'm on a PC. I guess you could always use Recycle to export wavs to a folder and upload the folder, but Bluebox is dope I suggest you try it
