sync problem with 2500 and korg ER 1

Connection as usual is MPC 2500 master KORG ER 1 Slave
This used to work without any problem.
Now a while agon I installed the latest OS on the MPC and it doesn't work anymore.

The ER starts together with the MPC but then has a short "startup"pause and the result is a delay that SUCKS.

Anyone any tips on this?
I also tried with the Korg ES & EA and they have got the same problem sith the MPC.
I checked with other devices and it's only with the MPC that there seems to be a problem.

Any help welcome.

Ps : yes I used different midi cables

I'd go back to the old OS until AKAI sort their sh*t out...

I've just bought an MPC2500 on operating system 1.24 and I 've got the same problem with my ER-1. Did going back to the older OS fix the problem? If so, which OS?

I have the same trouble with AS Europa and JJOS 2XL on MPC1000. I would realy want to make this work proper.
