zip question

how do i keep a certain sound while scanning through a zip disk, record that sound to a track, then keep scanning thru and find another i like, then put that on track 2 and so forth. i try but the sounds change, i know why they change, but how do i keep what i originaly picked

Pick the pad you want the sound on... Then hit keep... I think this answers your question... I'm a little confused... Hit me back if you need further instructions...

all the pads are filled....cuz its a zip disk and when i load a certain .pgm and then browse and pick a sound, thats when i put it on a track and then you know the story

Well if your loading a sound into a current program and every single pad is filled... Then start a new program and add the sound into that one...
