The 2000XL

Man am I glad I bought my 2000XL and not the 1000... Lots of bugs... I mean holy sh!t... Eveyr day I see like 5 new posts in here about another bug... So I started this Topic so everyone could vent their anger... I wanna see nothing in here, but pure cursing and non-sensical rambling on about your frustrations with your 1000... Who's first???

Im actually quite happy with it... Granted this is my first piece of hardware, I look forward to having great times with this sex machine.


I think the best thing to do is be patient and wait for future OS updates

i kinda wish i got the 2000xl myself, we shouldnt have to wait a year for updates,dont sell yourself short u paid mad loot for your shlt ,we should get what we paid for ,a fully functional product,

yo, I got the 60 mk2, that sh*t is tight. But im old skool 12 bit grit.
Got the 303 ridin shotgun with the sp12 and w30.

i'm more than happy with my 1k and from what i make out a lot of people claiming things are bugs are just newbies who don't know enuff about the basics of sampling and sequencing. not saying there are no bugs... but there's a lot more claimed than i think there actually are.

I am too sorry to report that I am fully content with my beloved мрç 1őøơ .
I can do basically everything with it *I* want it for. I have come to like especially the digital i/o. If u havent used it yet ur missing out on a great feature. Just bounce a piece over the converters and then the digital out and observe significant change in fidelity and SNR .

Of course some added features would be nice like:

- 24 bit compability
- built in HD
- MTC sync
- ADAT 8 channel outs OR Firewire audio out
- MORE ram (like over 256)
- less cumbersome midi note mapping (like an instant switch between GM and chromatic)
- level mixer for tracks
- visual event editor (like a small piano bar)
- midi controller assigments for the faders
- continous filters
- note shifting
- less rigorous TC (like magnetic area in Cubase/Nuendo)

BUT WAIT!! THATS A 4000 HAHAHA

Mostly user error. I have only been able to actually confirm a couple of bugs.

I had a 2000XL and now have a 1000 I have no bugs or problems. Either theirs is faulty or they dont know how to use it. Some people think minor user problems are bugs, its not even the case.

Me too! I got no problems with mine. I Love this thing.

i thought this topic was post to be about how bad it is. well it looks like there is more people showin more love for it.

do you think there will be time strech in further updates?

Well thanks a lot people... Anyways Andreas I've read about your set-up ... I would kill for your set-up... I have a 505 and a 2000XL... Right now I'm hopin to get a W30 and I'd like to get an S950... Since 60's are expensive as sh*t now and gettin harder to find... And S950's are pretty cheap... That W30 is really nice form what I've been readin too...
