mpc 2.5k 48 hours into it!!!

simple question...

i jst got an mp 2.k after upgrading from fl.

all i wanna do is chuck some drums over a string loop?

how do i do this?

in fl i could just set the sample to 4 bars or however many i wanted then put the pitch to tonal and i'd have a perfect loop...

without ever having to know the bpm of the original sample.

how to do this in the mp 2500?

you push the automatic button and then the do it button. read the manual a bit... it will explain some of the time stretch features.


also, the 2500 may not be an upgrade from a complex piece of software.... they are different machines and they dont do the same tasks in the same way.
