loading drums on a memory card mpc 2500

Why when i try to load my drums on the memory card i press the usb button to connect the mpc the computer
it always tell me device removal was not put away properly
unplug my device
select its icon from the finders menu and choose eject from the file menu.
i don't get it i thought once i see the mpc icon drag and drop and then the card loads it get real
complicated bought to turn this damn mpc off
for got im using the mac os

I'd just go out and buy one of those usb card adaptors. They're dirt cheap (and save on the hassle of moving your mpc about (my pc is in a different room) or contstantly plugging/unplugging the usb connection.

where can i get one of those @
your saying if i get the card reader i can hook it up to my mac usb and load it from there
instead of doing from my mpc usb.

Why do you wanna load the drums on your computer?
