We'll try to include piano roll in step mode
there are tons more than two functions on most of the fx just have to page over
reverb is only 2 because it's a basic verb.
We plan to add tons more reverbs and more multi fx as we grow and synth gens etc
very nice, I tried to show the various parameters that changed per effect in one of my videos
I don't think many know you can page over to more parameters.
BEATKANGZ wrote:also we made kit edit way better. Now you will be able to play a pattern and select a kit from a track and edit the kit with out stoping the pattern. All changes to the kit happen live while the pattern is playing so let's say you make a beat with a kit and say hmmm I wonder what a differnt snare would sound like or I wonder if I pitched this kick down what would that sound like. Well in real time as the pattern is playing you can make these changes and hear them real time......
This will be in the next release hopefully by the weekend.
Can an MPC do this? Can you edit kits realtime while playing a beat using that kit?
I've never tried that is it possible on an MPC?
Now do you see why pad mute and solo are soooo huge. You don't have to burn up tracks on kick snare hat and perc any more. All your drums can be one track 1!
88 pads per track x 16 tracks and can edit them mute or solo in real time....
yes we can, I think that's why it has been such a requested feature, it let's you work very quickly, glad to see you
listening to us on that one too
BEATKANGZ wrote:Wait till u see Rex and auto chop, time stretch and multi wave export! Vst is also in testing RIGHT NOW. It's all on the way.
I can't wait for this, multi wave/track support is gonna be STUPID! Will it be just per track, or will it be per pad in use, for instance say the track has a kit on it, will it export the pads to go along with pad mute and not needing to separate the drums out per track? Will it be able to tell the difference between a kit track and an instrument track and export accordingly? Or will we be able to specify if we want all the used pads to be exported on a track vs just the whole track itself?
This joint gettin crazy.
BEATKANGZ wrote:I would recommend if you have not got a virtual you do so now for 3 reasons.
1. Learn the virtual u learn the hardware. Start compiling and configuring your kits, help shape the OS..... If you haven't caught on Virtual is the beta of the hardware.....lol
We'll be at 2.0 by the time the hardware comes out. Don't you wanna help design the baddest new beat machine??? I mean really folks..., when will you EVER have another chance to do something like this. U think rol or nukai will listen to u. Must less get in a forum and actually talk to u.
Yeah man, I kinda figured that, and that's what keeps me excited. Knowing that most of the features, excluding keyboard commands, will be moved over to the hardware's OS...or...if you implement usb keyboard support in the hardware, maybe even the key commands.
Knowing everything I learn on the software will be easily translatable to the hardware is dope...so I can just get it and go.
we are watching man, hoping for the features and specs to keep growin lol....and anxious for the hardware...October isn't that long away yo!
peace
