i know, but im just sayin this is a topic about showing each other your equipment.. its like if i posted a picture of my mixer and put it up here, but i just wrote it

Just a thing about how this thread is going alive....

If everybody just say :

"Dude, i have the same gears as you !" without posting a picture, will it be so read?

Maybe we can create a "I got this or that, you too?" ...

Sorry for the people who were waiting for pictures, i just want to explain why it's not interesting to say "i have the same as you".

Cheers

Watupange probably spends most of his time in the real world.

If I went in someone's room I would definitely point that out.

Yeah the Yamaha AN200 is one VA that I think comes pretty close to actual analog sweetness on some patches, although I am thinking of adding a mopho to my set-up to have a complimentary analog monosynth. The DX200 is sweet too because I can load up all the old DX7 sysex patches floating around the net. That's really the main reason I got it, I wanted to do some Depeche Mode-esque tracks.

My ever evolving mess...
I can't be bothered to clean it up untill I get my Micro Q PSU back from my friend and get a biger mixer that's not faulty! My SX needs loads of new pots and a good clean..want to get a Spirit Studio, cheap but ok for the minute.

Those are the Long & Mcquade brand of monitors that they sell right? How are you finding those?

Yeah they are. I just got them fairly recently but I'm liking them so far. I checked out a bunch in that price range, Krk's, yamahas, and these. The yamahas were the flattest I think, best for mixing but these ones had the best bass response and we're the nicest to listen to so I went with these. They are a slightly bigger box than the yamahas and have ports on the front which helps alot. Definitely worth checking out in that price range.
