This Pisses Me Off... Copying Tracks to Other Sequences

On the 2000XL when you copied a track from one sequence to another, it also copied the MIDI channel and the track name, but it doesn't do this with v1.23! I hate having to rename the track and select the MIDI channel, especially since it doesn't seem to work properly unless you set up the destination track to those settings before you do the copy!

Are u sure u copy the track from the track params screen?

When u copy the track to another sequence in sequence edit mode it will only copy the events.

If you're referring to the menu accessed by the Window button, that only allows for copying within the same sequence.

Like on the MPC2000XL, I think it should copy everything from the Sequence Edit menu. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if this wasn't essentially the same look-and-feel system as a 2000XL. It's slower to accomplish the same thing via the same interface, therefore it's awful!

I tryed it on my mpc with jjos 3.09 and it has the same 'problem'. Guess u can't copy the other track settings to another sequence besides the programed events.
