Whuttup MPC Forums.

Im tryna make the change over from MPD24 to a MPC 1k

What are the stock sounds like on the 1K?

..and is the Blue/Red 1K a good deal for 500? Everything works, pads and buttons.

Some insight would be appreciated. Thanks ahead.

The stock sounds (Internal Memory) are aiight! If your good with tweakin' sh*t! But drumkits are practically free! The blue and red for 500 potatoes ain't a bad price but think about the stuff you might have to add on! 2.5" Hard Drive, 128Mb RAM, JJ OS1 (A Must Have)), Possibly new pads!

I'd say go for it cause even with all that it don't make $1000

500 Potatoes (MPC 1000) - (http://img.alibaba.com/photo/50371871/Potatoes.jpg)
55 Potatoes (80Gb HDD) - (http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-S ... 843&sr=8-1)
35 Potatoes (256Mb RAM) - (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820172003)
180 Potatoes (New Pads) - (http://www.mpcstuff.com/akai--mpc-1000- ... x-upg.html)
50 Potatoes (JJ OS1) - (http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/)

About 820 Potatoes in total! I'd say tell em' 480!
