but funny to see peeps comming around toe the product I think its a conditioned response to doubt any product that aint comming from a previously established company.

this is where dude need to use they own decision making and look at the pros and cons of an item and what it can do for you. and how u might be able to utilise it in ur setup.

some peeps is gonna be stubborn and even when it comes out and its dope gets good reviews peeps will still cling to there old systems and opions and find lil ways to throw salt on it but **** it.

Just wondered if you'd had the chance to see if round robin sampling was in the BTV?

Also for those worrying about the Hardware using Linux-based OS, its been happening with other companies for years, from what I've seen Korg are very fond of their Linux/Unix operating systems and their products have been rock solid for me latency-wise. Even the Oasys was Linux/Unix based.

no problem bro! I didn't see any round robin capabilities when I checked, forgot to update ya!

Maybe I'm missing it, but it looks like they are setup for velocity switching on the layers but no random or round robin style of play...it's a good feature suggestion though I'd definitely like to see it, hopefully they will add this feature, it's very useful in many different ways...

So I went to buy BTV and my account was gone. The Beat Kangz must have removed it because of all my Photoshop stuff. I guess they gave me the BK Flush.

they have plans for download distribution, they are planning to implement a step sequencer but the first version does not currently have it, uses real time only at the moment.

From this whole story the only good thing that might come out is maybe that NUKAI will be eventually bothered and built a new MPC they way they should have done it with the 5k. If this happens, then I wanna see what will be left for this thing.

However, I highly doubt that anyone from the corporates will be bothered. They will just sit back and wait for the first service/warranty requests to hit the stores.

I predict this machine being a hug success and it starting off a machine war of clones from korg & roland looking to undercut the machine.

this will likely push akia into purely the high end market as far a sampling beat machines and the will likely cut losses and focus on they controllers and mpcs may become less ubiquitously used by hobbyist home users.

interesting theories and predictions...we can only watch and see what happens.
