Angry nerds praying on people's downfalls is the norm though.

I ain't praying for nothing! I am however sitting back and waiting to see what happens, if and when this thang comes out :D

No point in getting crazy excited in something that doesn't exist yet.

That's like when I was in band in high school- Jocks would call everyone Band queers, but they'd go:

"naw, you're cool- you're on the drumline"

WTF?

Thanks for the props though!

ahahah that's hilarious. I didn't even mean it like that, but yeah you get props.

Yes we have zoom..... And yes a touch would allow you to drag with your fingers but.....
It's a 3.5 inch screen..... And when you see how quick those knobs move through start and end points..... U ain't gonna care about touching the screen you will probably prefer not to smudge the screen. Plus you'll have the virtual so you can edit on a big nice monitor too and easily move the edited samples back and forth. Touch screens are cool but not really worth it on small screens IMO.

Yes you will also be able to hear your edits in real time.

Okay damn ive been reading for like 150 pages or so, and ive been trying to avoid posting because im a bonafied **** on these frums, but I cant pass this one up. 3.5 inch touchscreen w. a zoom function......easy fix=stylus. No individual outs? c'mon beat kangs, or will it stream to individual tracks via usb?
One XLR/Stereo line? aww c'mon man, some of us like to make sure we aint using the mic input for unbalanced signals. You as producers should know thats a disaster waiting to happen. Nuetrik connector is a plus, but it should have and needs a seperate L/Mono and R jacks. And two data wheels......please explain to me the functionality of that, looks like a controller for a new PS3 star trek game. Kangs, please do me a favor and keep the essentials simple, guranteed you will get a more welcome response.

Just been reading through this shiit... it's straight up funny!!!!!!

The pseudo pyramid sales aspect especially tickled my funny bone!!! - it's so obvious u guys don't have money

Are you hoping to get enough pre-sales to convince someone to back you financially???

Stay off the crack pipe - it takes more than hype on a couple of niche forums to build an empire

And the hype is mostly derogatory too, unfortunately for you....

but good luck to you, I like to see someone trying a hustle! - just sort your product out then start running the mouth

I have been bangin out some joints on this Virtual software. There are some things here that seem to have escaped mention that I like a great deal. For the audio nerds, of which I am a part of, there appears to be a hard limiter of sorts on the output of the software and it sounds really good. I have used a combination of the "neve" bang limiter as well as the "analog distortion" freak preset and I believe the combo is magic. One aspect of hardware production that I really dig is that new tonalities can be created by the force in which you hit the converters... overloaded drum sounds are my favorites. I get comparable if not better results doing this within this software. Also, not enough has been made of the superb mastering job they've done with the drum sounds. It doesn't pigeonhole you either. What I mean is, I'm what you'd consider old school/east coast and this works for me. I sample mad records, and this is easy to do as well which was the hook that got me on board with this. These beats are bangin in the lab, bangin in the car, bangin in the 'phones while I got my ipod at the gym and all this by merely exporting the mix.... before I get it into Reaper for the final coat of paint.

To the Beatkangz, don't dignify haters with a response. Take the wind out of a disagreeable individuals wings and watch 'em plummet.

you must not have been following along...the Kangs are the one with the problems not the forum members. Remember this is home court...MPC-FORUMS...not kangland..they are visitors...yall giving them way too much props for a piece of software that is NOT revolutionary....

And ONE I find it kinda f*cked up that you shut down so many posts for "personal attacks" but you allow the kangs to do as they please...

lmao....Exactly why I posted the email. These dudes need to come correct on the marketing front.

Why would you put only one input on the unit? Most cats have multiple sample sources and dont like rerouting cables everytime they want to sample. Also, why 2 headphone jacks? Are you going to have someone in the booth with a 20 ft headphone extension running from the beat thang? Seriously...I wish I could get scooped up by Akai to help them build a serious machine to destroy the Beat Thang. You guys are not "techs" as it states in your marketing...Why bother? At least come up with a better idea than combining the ASRX and MPC.... And only 1 midi I/O? This "THANG" is def. not geared towards the pro....

You guys need some serious help on the design of your hardware.....
