Reserved system error trap code.

Could be:

1: Faulty work space ram ( CPU ram as opposed to SAMPLE ram ) used for OS code execution at run time.

2: Another CPU related main board fault.

3: OS chips not correctly socketed. ( not all pins correctly in their sockets )

4: Possible boot leg chips.

What exactly were you doing at the time when this error happened ?

Is your MPC60 fitted with SCSI ?

Is your MPC60 maxed with the SAMPLE ram expansion board ?

Not exactly sure what I was doing when it happpened but I had a sequence playing and I think I pressed the sounds key and then the error came up and it froze. Both times that it has happened is when I have a sequence and its been powered for some time. No my mpc does not have scsi or the ram expansion board. This error never came up before when I was running on 2.02 os. Should I try to reinstall the chips? They were purchased from roger linn design.

Try performing the re-install of 3.10 again.

It might be that your new 3.10 chips have not been seated correctly.

Check that all the other cables in your machine are correctly seated also as one of them may have been dislodged while installing OS 3.10.

All I can think of right now.
