Also, it's a shame that so many used record stores have closed over the last 5 years. I have no doubt that this is in part due to downloading, and has also had the effect of making the remaining used vinyl stores jack up their prices just to stay afloat. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to visit their local used record store and drop a buck or two so that these places can stay open...
man, you telling me. I was going there like once every two weeks and stockin up, but it closed. I almost cried cause everything else was downtown. (all those are gone too) Then like u said, other stores jackin up the prices (min $5 for those usual $1 records). The choices became slim unless it was booty music( that's the crap choices we got). Anyway, thats why i became a downloader/"e-digger" because that was the only way to find records you could usually get without breakin the bank on ebay. Its like the only place to find rare digs, on ebay! (shippin is extra)
