a quick and dirty tool that can do full compositions and bread and butter sounds like u can go wrong with some rhodes and strings cos those will always blend with samples or if u wanna do a none sample banger all good.

I still haven't seen it hooked up to a turntable or even a cd player and sample sounds yet. Thats what I wanna see.

I would'nt be surprised if Akai was secretly funding the Kangz. After all they called it the MPC killer, maybe it was used as a contraversy to catch attention of their current customers to switch. The XR20 operates similar to the Thang and that got flashing blue lights too. Why could'nt they call it the SP or MV killer, those sold more than MPCs because of price ranging from $399 and up. Akai did sold to Numark, so its a new company than what it once was.

That ning site is going to be mostly blind fanboy circle-jerking. There's some of that here too, and I was banned once because of it. People don't like the truth when it threatens their beliefs. They'd rather believe lies and feel right than face truth and feel wrong.

The good thing about keeping some Beat Thang info alive on this forum is more of a chance for truth to be heard. The bad thing about it is there's blind hate here too. You have to look beyond all the blind beliefs on both sides and cut to the facts to see truth.

If all these threads are closed, you can find some info on my BKE Beat Thang page. It's been updated as more data is discovered. There's more to come that hasn't been published yet.

I'd like to see more videos too, of it sampling, but of everything. Let's see some in-depth workflow. Let's see it charging, booting, loading, saving, recording, exporting, etc. Plug a sound module into the MIDI out, plug a MIDI controller in, sequence that.

What you failed to consider is that we have spent a fortune to build this company and before we make some one we barely know from a forum a rep we needed a way to see who had the motivation and hustle to make something from nothing. It's great that you got your Pro Tools Cert....but dude we live in Nashville. Do you know how many people waiting tables got PT cert's..... What sales experience, can you work the net, can you PROVE you are worth a 6 figure salary? You just expect to be handed that cause you chat on an MPC forum and got a protools cert? Around here we reward hustle. No one GAVE us anything. We were running from the repo man around the time the streetboxx came out..... Streetboxx was our PROOF that we could do something.
We made 15k of that deal and they made millions.....but now we have our own company and dev team. If zoom would have offered us 20% of all the streetboxxes we could sell we would have been happy! This is a tough biz. Record and Mi biz. If all you in here think someone is gonna hand u anything or even give you a chance to earn it.....good luck with that. At least we were giving you a chance to earn a position. We have a few "Soldiers" now that ARE proveing it and guess what, as we grow they will become Generals.

If you knew the bonuses we are planning to give our top "soldiers" you would shit your self. Like I said we reward hustle.

You know it's really ashame. Some of you in here have been really cool and had our back others are so negative it's pathetic.
