Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Whenever I trim a sample in zone edit, then try to assign it to the pads in the program screen, the sample comes out sped up and pitched up at least
2-3 octaves.

It's probably something really basic I'm overlooking, so apologies in advance. (I did try and search this too)

Check the tune params on that pad cause you may have
that pad set to a previous tune for a previous
sample.

Check that your samples is actually 44khz.

Check your Nv slider it's probaby assigned to the pad you're putting the sound on. Check Trim->Params too. I get this sometimes too, if those two things aren't causing it, along with the obvious program->pad params I honestly think it's a glitch.
