thats me, I got a w30, had it since 1995, it was my first sampler. Very , very hard to get around on. However, as my man elmacaco points out, the w30 has a cool sound, the "internal sounds are nothing to write home about, but when you sample into it, and I havent done that since 1996(AND I will do it soon again) the bass is deep , thick, brilliant. Look, I bought it used in 1995 cause I heard E double had it. Now, the going price is in the 400's. After I got the w30, frustrated cause the sequencer almost made me toss it(thats where the 60 comes in) anyway, I then got a sp 12, bought it in south central from, a reggae producer for (get this) 800$.
So now I sit with the 60(the crown jewel) sp 303 (lets you get creative) the w30 (potential is f*ckin great with the 60) and the sp 12, which I just love looking at, but can make the same drums in my 60. But hey, the 12 has that "sound" that I love, 12 bit grit.
Elmacaco, what up with MAGIX?
Like, oh my God, what do we have here?
My man is on fire like the Ohio Players
