Does Syncing Midi in Protools throw out the 60's swing?

Hey Y'all. I've just joined the 60 II camp. Been over in the 4K forum for a couple of years and just got a good deal on a 60. Beside the lower bit rate and 'crunch factor' I keep hearing that the 60 and 3000 have a unique swing. My question is...If the 60 is midi locked to protools and following the protools midi clock does the 'unique swing' of the 60 go away? I'm waiting a couple of days before I get the 60 and am thinkin about how I'm gonna track into protools off the 60.

PS. any general remarks on the protools meets 60 midi sync appreciated too.
