Aightee then
I can't do pics for a week I'm on vacation
But u could fake pics so ill do a video
Here's the trick
Os 1.2 can read partitions just fine
It just can't write them!

What I did was install 1.14
Partition the internal drive (I assume this will work the same external)
Then install 1.20
Drive and ide card reader both work perfect
Drive (internal via scsi) shows partitions
Partitions function
I can copy, save, open, whatever between partitions
Works perfect
Noteably u cannot partition a larger cf card
1.14 will not see it so it can't do it
And it probably wouldn't anyway cause u have to use special software to partition cf cards
I have a 8gb cf card partitioned via special software working perfect along with the drive
There u go
What I wouyld suggest is always having a disc for 1.14 and one for 1.20 so you can flip back n forth easily in just a couple minutes should u need to partition a new drive.
Noteably I installed 1.2 back on it via cd external scsi but I don't think that has anything to do with it
After that I decided to leave 1.14 and 1.20 on the internal drive so I can always flip back n forth right there inside the unit

I'll post a vid when I get back next week. Or tomorrow night if I can snatch up some extra stuff to trick the one I got with me
