All this time i thought the mpc was limited to one set of fx for the whole project. The more time i spend with the mpc and reading the forums the more i learn and the more ways i find of being creative with it. I really should RTFM!
well, i didnt R it in T FM!, ehheh,
'twas merely a matter of finding myself (yet again), cursor somewhere on a screen, armed with a data wheel, naturally i find myself scrolling right through any options available at any particular time to see the possibilities......this time was the 'step edit' page, scroll, scroll, scroll, see - 'insert', 'effect' , BANG!
"now i can insert all these different things into my seqs' " i thought.....and the work flowed on, in new directions, more to keep me entertained/busy/learning/happy etc.
try it - the data wheel explorer kit - on a fresh project though, so nothing's at risk.
There is more to it than first meets the eye that's for sure. I'm still finding out new things about it after 4 months! This takes it to a whole new level for creative sampling. I've been back and forth about keeping the mpc recently to focus on Live 8 but these little things keep pulling me back. The jj os manual now avaialble as a pdf really helps too as i couldn't really follow the online guide. I wouldn't sell the mpc for anything now.
