There should be a panic button on the MPC I HATE lock ups.

God damt it! I was making this sick groove with the MPC and my virus and while playing with the synth's cutoff (not even recording) my MPC just locked up and would not do anythign else. These sort of things should not happen, they did not happen with the 2500 and they should not happen with the 5k.

Include a panic button on the next OS update please please please. stop killing my work flow and inspiration.

Hit the stop button 3 times, sends a midi message to the sequencer to stop everything (panic).

I will try that next time but these lockups seem rather intense. It's like the bluescreen of death, unhandled exception.

That 3x stop button method definitely doesn't always work.......at least not in my experience
