First Two beats with my 1k

alright i need some feedback, i got two beats done with my mpc 1000 and i dont have a big ego or whatever and dont care what you say because i will take it as constructive criticism not like that sucks tell me why it sucks you know. blasting and just think are the titles at http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/fatho ... smusic.htm

just think- real good, the simplicity is good here, nice melody, i dont know about the isley brothers tho

and do u edit sample on pc?

yeah, i sample every thing form my tuntable mixer to my pc via m audio mobile pre then i save it to the flash card and then maybe ill edit some samples on the mpc if i need to change them and can do it easily. but i edit and chop in adobe audtion.

Just Think-I would say its a good idea to stay away from the pitched up soul vocal samples right now. That said, the Rhoads loop sounded good...I would would try to do a little bit more, uh, "chop play", if you know what i mean, on 'em. And loosen the bass a little, add 1 or 2 more warm vinyl-y sounds...
or whatever...those were just speculations...i liked it alright, btw..keep at it..

Blasting-Not bad...I would try to make it sound tougher..like i would make the drums more crashy and in general, just incorporate a more scratched up, room miked quality to the samples. You could even use the same notes..


Blah blah...its all subjective...keep on keeping on

tahnks bro. yeah i really like the pitched up sampels for some reason i dont know. they are just sick. but i know they are getting way over played right now. im gonan try and stay away from em unless i come across a sick ass one.

this arent my firs tbeats ever jsut my first mpc the rest of the best on there are some fl studio stuff. i never had the moeny for hardware untill recently so now im all aobut that mpcizzle haha. but yeah thanks man
